an especially beautiful day in lake placid.cold but sunny and a beautiful blue sky.the usual trek around the lake but no snow coming down and i was able to brig my trusty camera.

Again, nice posts. You seem like you are enjoying all the new photo opportunities! Though I hate the cold/snow, going away somewhere beautiful, like where you are, would make it more bearable. Have fun!

These are all very lovely, Bridget! The chairs are great...and I was intrigued by the shadows they cast. Would love to see an image focused on the shadows, too! :-) The church against the blue sky was gorgeous, too. I loved all the angles formed by the building. It's been fun hearing about your vacation through your images and daily writing!
is that red door the door to the church ?
Okay, I know this is after the fact (of your vacation) but I really like these images, and they almost (operative word, almost) make me wish I could take similar ones--although that would mean I'd have to be back in NY in the winter--brrrr. Nice job. Love the Adirondack chairs, but who doesn't?
