these are treasure boxes to be filled with goodies for the poorest of poor children around the world.

one of my coworkers (and jayme's mom ) has been involved in this project for many years and when she started collecting shoe boxes i knew without asking what they were for.
i believe the effort is called project hope.
if not it should be:)

Great story and images. I like the compositions of both. We only need to see part of a subject--good exercise for our minds to "fill in the blank".
Our church does that Project Hope too. Love it. Thanks for sharing.
