off to south glens falls for a 60th birthday party for my dear friend and sister in law gayle:)

looks like a stack of old shoe boxes right?
wrong.
these are treasure boxes to be filled with goodies for the poorest of poor children around the world.
merry christmas to them all.
one of my coworkers (and jayme's mom ) has been involved in this project for many years and when she started collecting shoe boxes i knew without asking what they were for.
i believe the effort is called project hope.
if not it should be:)

joe and i celebrated our 37th anniversary yesterday.
when i got home from work there were roses and a card with the final payment of our house.

best present ever:)

i stopped at the same spot as yesterday morning and took an image of the same place in the afternoon sun.i worked most of the night and up early today so that's all i have.

pretty lemons and a personal challenge.
i was sitting in the car waiting for joe to make his deposit in the bank and i challenged myself to do my homewrk while i was waiting without leaving the car:)
the answer to the challenge was to look up!

we are so happy for him and proud of him as he enjoys his new home:)
