i forgot it was button day:)i made this little red outfit for my son ben 26 years ago.i dressed him it it often because he just looked so cute in it.it has been tucked in my drawers ever since.i just can't seem to part with it.one of the reasons i loved it so much was the adorable buttons.

Hard to imagine that the men in your family once wore and fit into a little outfit like this. As a mother it must seem a lifetime ago on one hand and only yesterday on the other. I love the sentiment in your posts.
Yes, I have a few of those things that I made for the kids when they were little. It is, indeed, difficult to part with them. Those buttons are adorable. It's interesting to see what "things/memories" tug at the heartstings.

That is adorable! I love baby clothes, especially the homemade ones:) I can just imagine how cute he was in it
