i went to nyc today to celebrate my son andrew's birthday.
we had a lovely lunch but i forgot to take his picture:(

i forgot it was button day:)
i made this little red outfit for my son ben 26 years ago.i dressed him it it often because he just looked so cute in it.it has been tucked in my drawers ever since.i just can't seem to part with it.one of the reasons i loved it so much was the adorable buttons.

an old friend came to visit today.
one of the nurses that used to work with us in the operating room moved to vegas a few years ago.she surprised us with a visit today.
good to see you kathy!











and though the rain stopped our hiking expedition today i didn't want to deprive you of me in my hiking boots,shorts and joe's fuzzy socks.
i had forgotten my hiking clothes and asked joe to run something down for me.
you gotta love those socks!

beautiful day in the city!
andy's apartment is soo much nicer than his old one which made his dad and i very happy.
met the other kids and karen(danny's gf) for a nice mexican lunch.
home sweet home by 9 pm.

i have a new book and some chocolate to eat on the train.
going to new york in the am .
my youngest son ,andy has a new apartment and mom has to see it(dad too).
