You and your bowls!! Beautiful. You'll never run out of subjects to photograph. I love the first one. If you don't mind a suggestion, don't clip off just a little of the bowl edge. If you can't compose the image the way you want with the entire thing in the frame, then cut off more of it so it looks like you did it intentionally.
Ooooh I love inlaid ceramic brown bowls.. Is that called Rakiu?
I love your beautiful bowls, too, Bridget! My favorite is the first image as well...the angle of view in that one is more appealing. I also like the shallow DOF with the focus on the bowl to the right. Do you use all of your bowls? My goodness, where do you store them all? You certainly have a lot of beautiful bowl images for your cookbook!

I love the lighting in these pictures. I saw a bowl and thought of you the other day. Target has bowls that are made out of tree roots, so they are all oddly shaped and have knots in the wood, but so beautiful!
