these old glasses always remind me of my dear old dad .he was an optician when it was more of an art form and much of the work was done by hand.
here's to you dad.one of the sweetest men i ever knew.

Nice image and sentiment Bridget. I like how you describe how his job truly was an art form. Not sure technology is 100 percent progress. In many ways we lose the human touch. Nice tribute.
Beautiful tribute to your dad, Bridget...he must have been a special man! I love the image, too.
Where did you get those glasses? Were they his? They are really beautiful. That is a great picture. For special effect, I might add a book or something close by. If your dad was anything like you, he was probably an amazing man:)
