i played hookey today and had a girl's day out with my granddaughter.we went to lunch,a chic flic and did a little bit of shopping.
when i returned home i had my ritual after work tea(even though there was no work in my day).
i am sipping it now as i blog:)
ok ,yes, there were cookies involved!

we went to the bow tie theater in schenectady and i took 3 quick" stop the car i need to take a picture."shots. i had about 30 seconds and joe said" get in the car there is traffic coming."so,there will be no kitchen art today:)

i was on call therefore alone and so i did a self portrait with no pet or loved one.

the results were, in a word ,embarrassing.

i took linda's advice and took a second try of the same subject as yesterday.i changed the lighting and angles a bit.it was fun going back and trying to squeek a few more pictures out of something you were sure you had gotten all you could out of.
not sure i succeeded but good times trying.
